Exposing LayerStack (Official Site: layerpanel.com) - Unfair Service & False Advertising

1. Service Experience: Double Injustice from "Wrong Region Selection" to "False Advertising"

During my service purchase through LayerStack's official website (https://www.layerpanel.com/), I encountered two core unfair practices:

• Step 1: Initially subscribed to a Hong Kong region server, but accidentally selected the wrong region. My request to change the region was rejected by the merchant, and I was required to pay extra to purchase a new server - this requirement is completely unreasonable;
• Step 2: To avoid additional expenses, I switched to purchasing a Singapore region server, and based on the merchant's explicit promise that "Singapore node provides China Direct CN2 Route", I paid extra to subscribe to this value-added service;
• Core Requirement: Only to have the merchant fulfill the advertised promise of "CN2 direct connection from Singapore node to Mainland China" and obtain a normal high-speed access experience;
• Actual Experience: The website access speed was extremely slow, and tests confirmed that the merchant engaged in serious false advertising.

2. Core Test Evidence: CN2 Route Claims Are Pure Fraud

1. Local PC Tests (Mainland China → Singapore Server 43.228.125.41)

Ping Test: Average latency 158ms (far exceeding the normal CN2 GIA range of 40-80ms, and also exceeding the 100ms threshold mentioned by the merchant);

Tracert Route Test: CN2 nodes only appeared briefly in the Hong Kong segment of the outbound route, with the gateway (43.228.125.1) latency reaching as high as 266ms;

2. Server-Side MTR Return Path Test (Core Fraud Evidence)

Test Targets: Mainland China Public DNS (114.114.114.114 / 223.5.5.5)

• Route Path: Singapore → Hong Kong → US HE.net (AS6939) / France fra2 node → Mainland China, no China Telecom CN2 GIA nodes (AS4809/59.43.x.x range) appeared throughout the entire route;
• Performance Data: 60% packet loss to 114.114.114.114, average latency of 259ms to 223.5.5.5 with up to 80% packet loss on some nodes;
• Key Conclusion: The value-added service I purchased based on the promise of "China Direct CN2 Route for Singapore nodes" was actually a cheap route with "one-way incomplete CN2 + detoured return path", which completely failed to meet the advertised promises.

3. Customer Service Communication: Full Evasion of Core Issues

• Regarding "refusal to change wrong region": Customer service refused the reasonable request to change the region on the grounds of "rule restrictions", only pushing the unreasonable solution of "paying extra to buy a new server";
• Regarding "fake CN2 advertising": Customer service confused the concept of "outbound/return routes", only admitting that there were a small number of CN2 nodes in the outbound route, and deliberately evaded the core issue of "detoured return path without CN2 direct connection";
• Final Outcome: The merchant never fulfilled the advertised promises and failed to provide a reasonable compensation plan, resulting in an extremely poor service experience.
